Udaipur Travel Diaries

Hello peeps,

This time I have got a travel blog for you guys from my recently visited city, you can call it City of lakes/White City/Udaipur.

Udaipur is a city of royal culture, lakes, traditions, handicrafts with royal fashion. And it is also home of the famous Pichola Lake.

This city in Rajasthan is known for its lakes, palaces, forts, temples, gardens and of course, the awesomely beautiful picturesque landscape.

Udaipur is also known as the Venice of India. Many tourists every year visit this city from across the world to witness the beauty and culture it offers to the tourist. And without any doubt , each and everyone just fell in love all over again with this place.

And it’s not only about the culture and history that attracts, even  the locals are friendly and helpful and always  ready to talk — be it rickshawalas, shopwalas, guides or any one else  — they are always happy to share the charm about their city. Like the rickshawala who took me to the exact shop for shopping to cater my needs of budget with street shopping of Rajasthani textile and hand looms. The Guide explained us in detail and answered all our querry happily giving our mind the proper clearity.

Talking about the Climate:

Since Udaipur is part of the desert land of Rajasthan, therefore the climate is usvally hot reaching upto 47 degree in summers. Though ,the nights are still cooler than days.

So, I would highly recommend to visit this city during winters to enjoy its beauty with amazing and chilling climate.

I Stayed in this city for almost 3 days, and that’s how I can list down the best places to visit during your stay in Venice of India.

The city Lake Place:

This is the main attraction of Udaipur city,One cannot leave this city before visiting this beauty .Built in 1559 by Maharana Uday Singh, Located peacefully on the bank of Lake pichola. This granite and marble building has its own charm . Highly recommended to take a tourist guide for the palace tour , to understand each and every part of the kings and queens lifestyle and there successors.

(P.S also one of the best places to get married too)
