Hello Gulabis,

Today I am back with my new travel diary, and this time it’s something that connected my thoughts, different from my earlier post. It won’t  depict about the royalty much, but undoubtedly it will connect you with our very own Indian Culture. This post will give a perfect touch to the people ,who admires beauty of the nature. 

DIVEAGAR it is !

Diveagar is a beach located in raigad district of Maharashtra , and it is about 160km from Pune & 170km from Mumbai. The beach is pretty clean as there is no shack or food stalls on the beach, and the surrounding area is so neat that you will enjoy ending up playing with the sand beach side. So , you can carry your food packages and stuff to enjoy the breeze and the sunset there. Also,there is lot of greenery around this place, which connects you with nature.The area covers beaches, temples,near by forts, wildlife sanctuary  and some water sports.But the most important part of this village is the beach.One can plan a small weekend getaway to this place ,who wants some time out from their daily routine life.

People who loves to eat sea food,will have a treat for themselves. Vegetarians don’t have much of interesting options though being a konkan area. This food will not only satisfy your taste buds but also will pamper your heart and  comfort your soul. 

Local villagers here are involved in coconut and beetle nut-tree farming, restaurants ,hotels and cottages being a tourist place.

For shopping , there is almost next to nothing except products made from coconut coir. Apart from that, this  place is a bliss for nature lovers but also bad scenes for shopaholic.

Highly Recommended by gulabigirl, is perfect if you want to relax and need a break from busy life. 

Cocuhut Resort :

Another good option for your stay if you are looking for green surrounding as well closest to the beach.

 

Also,you can extend your stay and visit Imagica & Aqua Magica as thats on your way while traveling by road.(You can stay at Novotel,next to Imagica)
